Feb 20, 2013 by Brian Gallagher Arriving in theaters this fall is director Gavin Hood's adaptation of Orson Scott Card's classic sci-fi novel Ender's Game. Today, we have a new official photo featuring Ender himself, portrayed by Asa Butterfield, having lunch with his Salamander Army, including Petra Arkanian (Hailee Steinfeld). The story is set in a future where gifted youngsters are trained by the government at an elite Battle School to help fend off an alien scourge. With the release of this photo, hopefully this means the first trailer will be debuting soon. We also showed you the Battle School Army logos yesterday, and today we have larger photos of each individual logo for the Rat Army, Asp Army, Salamander Army, and Dragon Army. Ender's Game comes to theaters November 1st, 2013 and stars Harrison Ford, Abigail Breslin, Hailee Steinfeld, Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Moises Arias, Jimmy Pinchak. The film is directed by Gavin Hood.
