Feb 20, 2013 by Brian Gallagher Director Mira Nair, best known for lighter fare such as Monsoon Wedding and Amelia, returns to the silver screen with the upcoming thriller The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Liev Schreiber stars as Bobby Lincoln, an American journalist in India, who is interviewing Professor Changez Khan (Riz Ahmed) as student protests light up the streets of Lahore. This meeting did not happen by chance, though, as a foreign professor's life hangs in the balance, even though both the journalist and teacher have their own agendas. Take a look at the first footage from this intense thriller, also starring Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland. The Reluctant Fundamentalist comes to theaters April 26th, 2013 and stars Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber, Nelsan Ellis, Martin Donovan, Riz Ahmed, Om Puri, Christopher Nicholas Smith. The film is directed by Mira Nair.
